Volunteering Opportunity: Coachbright

We are Coachbright, a social mobility organisation who works with disadvantaged pupils through 1-1 or 1-2 tutoring. We do this by pairing them with great students from universities. As a National Tutoring Programme official partner, this term our work will reach over 1000 pupils. We’ve had some incredible university students volunteering with us for the past 6 years, and are really excited to start working with new students this year!

As you can imagine, tutoring support for disadvantaged pupils is more important now than ever in the wake of a third national lockdown and school closures, so we’re hoping to support as many as we can. We know lots of students will be looking for ways to help right now, and in return for volunteering, our student tutors can gain leadership skills, an accreditation from the SSAT – and the opportunity to make an impact in a young person’s life.

This year the attainment gap is widening further, and we hope that through providing pupils with subject-specific tuition from students, they can see an overall boost to their grades, confidence and independence. All tutoring will be online until lockdown is lifted, so students can volunteer with us from anywhere!

Opportunity: Make Education Fairer!

CoachBright are looking for students to work with school pupils from low income backgrounds to help them improve their grades, confidence and access to university. As we enter a third national lockdown, it’s more important than ever that our most disadvantaged pupils are getting the support they need. Join us to help make education fairer!
